I am animating my poser scene but during the scene I want a character to disappear only to reappear in a different spot how do you do that with poser 4?

there are a few ways to do that one is in editing after the fact, the second is by making the figure fully transparent, alot of work there. If you have a good editing software I would go with the first.

You can scale the character down from 100% to almost zero, move the reduced figure to a new location, and then scale it back to full size.

Or simply move it quickly out of camera view, and then back again at the new spot.

tried the transparent trick but the problem i face there is he is transparent in the other frames as well? is there a way i can make him completely transparent for certain frames and not transparent in the other frames?

Only in Pro Pack and P5. P4, on its own, doesn't support animated materials.

I have pro pack with poser 4

In that case, then, open the material panel and enable the "Animateable" option at the bottom for each material you wish to animate. Afterward, any changes you make to the transparency settings for a given keyframe will be remembered. You can also animate texture, reflection, and bump map strength, the colours, and highlight size.

Little Dragon I tried that and I got the same result above the character is transparent in every frame do i need to make a transparency map for the material menu or just fiddle around with the dials? Or is it something else?
