Lots of different ways, You could leave it blank, when you finish with your main scene, Mask render all objects. Render a star scene and save that, then layer them together in Photoshop. Do as drawbridgep says with a 2D plane & star material, or also on a sphere. Masking out layers will allow you much more control, You can also touch up the background with Universe Image creator which makes some great space fields. Good Luck & let us know how you make out. Happy Holidays ICM

This Image has the nebula on a sphere & I used Universe Image Creator for the stars. I masked the stars & pasted them in, erasing the masked stars to fit the scene. I also made the sphere semi transparent & put a strong radial light on the outside of the shpere. Have Fun!___

one technique used is to create a sphere, and texture it with a star mat, I think I've seen a few (galaxy and galaxy1, I think at Wolfie's Den..I think). Put your scene inside the Sphere, bring in a light to suit (I use radials because they render faster..well, never mind..;), and whatever you want to render. A quick tip- sometimes it helps to delete the basic plane, or you get 'horizons' in space..;) You might also turn off the shadows in lighting, because nothing says 'wrong' like a shadow on a planet..;)

I would like to create a Sc-Fi scene in Bryce, but I also would like to create the starry background with Universe. So my question is..is there a way of importing this background (which will be in .BMP format) into Bryce and using it instead of one of the regular Bryce backgrounds? Thanks in advance..
