Dystopia, in an untextured section, becomes "TROPICANA"- a place on a nearby star-system where you can always find the crews from StarTrek, DS-9 and other Galaxy Adventurer Shows- all hanging out and talking about tweaking Fusion-Drives while having a few brews and chasing after Sexy Robots.

I think I'll add a couple of planets in the background and a few Hover Taxi's flying around!

"Let's All Go To The Snackbar!, Let's All Go To The Snackbar"!-- Retro 35mm Slide with Snackbar Jingle.

Ms. TrekkieGirrrrrl already knows this one- but this classic font-you have probably seen years ago (if you are old enough) at Drive-In Movies. It's called
(appropriately?) "Edible Pet II"

(Of course, with my dates in those days, my cars windows were always too steamed up to see this slide!)

Just a test with IW43D Vehicles. I have found all their models load EXTREMELY well, without any problems. I suspect it is because they have years of experience making MAX models for animation projects. Their models seem to be very compact in size, but still with lots of nice details.

(All the doors and hatches are posable. Humvee even has
an engine with posable hood).

Not actually a TOON LOOK, but like playing with the lights in DAZ Studio. I would certainly like to see them add XYZ handles on them so you can manipulate them on-screen like Vue and Bryce. Hoping this will be in the Beta Version.

Veritas, I really like this style! 'Tropicana' has this 'Miami Vice' atmosphere.... (Or 'Larry Laffer' atmosphere?) Don't add anything! It's good as it is. - and the dragon picture has a lot of expression! Very unique, very cool!

Yeah, that Tropicana image really has a great unique look! Don't forget how you did that, I'm sure a lot of people will want to know. ;) SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

Well, I'm already really interested in how Mazak is getting his interesting Toon-Illustration looks! But the "Tropicana" image is 95% just playing with DS lights. It totally amazes me how this DS renderer engine seems to adaptively shift gears depending upon the lighting and creative use, or non-use, of texture maps. That's basically just pastel lights bouncing off solid, untextured surfaces. That 3delight renderer sample image of "China Town" gave me the real clue that a real toon-like look is achivable just using lighting and untextured objects. I have always like using pastel lighting effects and I am a big fan of Sarsa's work. I use her type of lighting in a great deal of my Poser PP images, plus with Z-Tooning, its a look I really like. I think Daz Studio really makes a lot of cool new illustration looks relatively easy. Predict that DS will have Plug-In "Sketch Render" features like Poser. :::::::Paging Don Albert::::::

Replace this dzdefault.sdl with the one in D|S shaders folder, make backup of the original file! Have Fun! Mazak

I have yet to figure out how to use shaders in DS! What's the proceedure for loading or using these? (Can't find any menu-tab controls).

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

I am sorry, but the file is at moment no longer freely available. Possibly later as a product in the market place. Mazak
