Just a question, but, are there any existing gloves for Mike 2 you could simply apply a transparency mask too? That and reasonable bump and texture maps might get you exactly what you want. I used that technique to get a fingerless glove for Victoria 3 from a fingered one. Another idea would be to create a glove texture and bump map on a michael 2 texture map. I.e., just paint and bump it onto the michael texture. The real trick would be in the bump map for that type of approach. Unless you really need the mesh, or it has to stand off significantly from the hands, this may work well. Good luck.

This may or may not be the right place to make such a request, but i do artwork very much in the military theme mostly Resident Evil related works, involving the Umbrella soldiers, and mercenaries police officers etc. many of those types of characters in the games have cool tactical fingerless gloves and i was just wondering if someone with the knowledge to model would like to take this up and make a pair of conforming tactical gloves for Mike2, if anyone could help that would be great. just reply to this message. The type of gloves i'm looking for are quite standard really. if you've ever seen a war movie or played a war related videogame chances are you've seen a character wearing black gloves without the fingers so thats basically what i'm looking for, i'm no expert but it seems like a simple enough project to model for an experienced person please reply if interested, thank you :)
