Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 15 9:11 am)
Wings 3d has a great way to manipulate geometries (the tweak method) allowing for great looking grounds. Also, it is pretty easy to make basic archetectural structures (like windowed and doored walls) It's a free application (check for the wings 3d forum here). There are some tricks to keep from getting the goofy rounding problems taken care of, but otherwise, it makes a great choice for creating your own sets. Vue 4 does do very nicely for rendering poser folk out of doors, as well as offering a much better light system for better renders in general (with some work) eric
I see. Thanks for the replies. I checked out vistapro and it seams to be very cheap ( i mean the price ) any reason for that ? It seamed to me the only landscape designer that is capable of making real waves ( not just a flat textured plane ) The point is that after creating I should like to animate the scape ( moving clouds, rolling waves,.... ) How about that in one of these programs ? Thanks for the wings 3D tip I'm gonna check it out right now Me

I'm currently working with P5 but the idea of creating realistic environments for my poser figures to be situated in gets bigger and bigger. Now what is the best 3D software to create landscapes, trees, water and all that, and at the same time compatible with poser? I've tried bryce 5 and Vue 4 ( not professional ) But if there's other stuff to use, just show me the way! Thanks Me
