Subject: Just Curious

Attached Link: Fast Food Rant

Does anyone have any ideas for an image related to the attached link. It is a Fast Food Rant. Was wanting to make a Bryce image dealing with the subject but my mind doesn't want to work this month. Any help would be appreciated.

You could show a manager being dismembered on the front counter while horrified employees look on.....except for two stoners hiding in the walk in freezer who are pointing and laughing.

I think show the picture of what you're supposed to be getting and then what you actually get. They never seem to match up. (Except maybe in Wendy's), but I'm an unnofficial spokesman for Wendy's.

I've seen something similar where I live. Go to one BK, and nobody knows wtf they're doing. Employees can't seem to tell their head from their @$$ let alone get an order right. I've learned to completely avoid doing any buisness with that resturant. Then go to another BK four blocks down the exact same street. The employees seem to have the same social/economic background as those at the previously mentioned BK. Same is true about the areas surrounding both resturants (so it's not a poor vs. rich thing.) But what's different about the second resturant? Employees and the resturant are clean, they get the orders correct, and everything is done quickly without much waiting. So what's the real difference? The management! Apparently if those directing the show care, the effects are seen througout all the workers. Same can be said about different shifts. But usually it's more of a franchise operator thing. Some sit on their hands and others are more pro-active. Good franchise operators tend to quickly eliminate poor managers in their staff regardless of shift. If you see a crappy resturant and a good one in the same chain in the same town, odds are they belong to two separate franchise operators. * Now if only BK would bring back their chicken parmesan sandwich and Arbys would do the same with the french dip. *

Sheesh - my gorge rises at the thought of eating anything described at the attached link!!!! Holy Moley - d'ya know what that s***t is doing to your system?!?!?!?! Or what it does to the animals that are 'grown' to service the industry? (end of lecture from free-range food-eater :o))

The thing to remember about BK is that it's a franchise rather then a chain (or at least in the UK it is). Whereas McD's is a chain. Basically it means that BK restaurants are totally at the manager/owners mercy whereas McD expect a standard (???? :) ) across the chain. @Pogmahone, Problem is, the stuff grown for supermarket chains is generally just as bad, unless you can go organic or live near (and can afford) fresh farm produce, you're stuffed :( (Gog goes off to pick fruit from his back garden :) )

I like GG idea but that is alot of poser people and I suck at poser :) but could give it a shot anywaysl. And Gog CA1 is right. I'm a QA Tech for Tyson Foods and the chicken we produce goes to supermarkets, fast food chains, schools, prisons, nursing homes, other companies for tv dinners and pot pies, you name it they make chicken for it. No processed food is good for you due to the preservatives they have to put in it for it to stay fresh till it gets to you. I, however, don't care. You have to die sometime in someway so way not enjoy that cheeseburger. And just so you know I live on a farm so I know all about fresh food being better for you. As a matter of fact in two months i'll be having two steers butchered so i'll be living on steaks all winter :). Well, will continue to dwell on the complete scene for the pic. I'll be sure to post the image I come up with so you know how it turned out.

I forgot to mention that the dismembering of the manager is being done by a customer with a screwed up order.

More "food" for the rant. (go ahead, groan): I went to a McDonalds once with my husband, and he ordered a quarter pounder. He opened his quarter pounder wrapper and found one of those burgers on a whole wheat bun with cheddar sauce and a ton of onions. He hates onions. And he always refered to that as "the onion burger." So he went back inside and told the guy at the counter that he got "an onion burger" in his quarter pounder wrapper. And the guy apologized and handed him an onion burger in the correct wrapper.
