have you checked out face_offs Skin Shader python script? Takes maximum advantage of bump map. Some examples of my renders using it with a male model can be seen on this thread.::::: Opera :::::

Papa, there is a tutorial on skin (related to the script) which deals with this. Granite displacement is probably what you are after. Plus some spots.Creator of PoserPhysics

I've found tutorials for increasing the specularity and using P5 shaders to get realistic renders for V3. My V3 renders look awesome but my M3 renders look a bit too soft. I want to make the skin look a little rougher and thicker. I thought increasing the bump map would help, but I don't know that it really helped. Is there a shader tutorial specifically for dealing with male skin?
