If money is no object then go with the Intutios as they apparently have more capabilities. From the Wacom site the Graphire 3 starts at $99.95 for the 4 x 5 and the Intutios starts at $219.95 for the 4 x 5. Also depends on which size of tablet you want. Graphire 3 has 2 sizes (4 x 5 and 6 x 8) where Intutios also has the 9 x 12 and larger tablets. I am still on my original Graphire tablets (both 4 x 5) which are now 5 years old. I wouldn't be without my tablets.
I suppose it also kinda depends on what you want to do with it. I've used the Graphire 3 for a couple years and am very happy with it, but I'm not creating from scratch, just manipuation, painting hair on poser models, little things. I think if I were doing full blown art and "hand painting" things, I would need a larger area of tablet than the 4X5 graphire, and probably more features the better. Hope I didn't confuse the issue ~ Rich
