I'm trying to get into a challenge about Romania organized by this Romanian newspaper ("the old dilemma"). the challenge is to think of a catch-phrase and a logo for the national tourism campaign. The prize is some books or whatever, but I'm hoping it will be an in for me to drop a resume with them :D Zo, what do you guys have as your state/country catchphrase? The current non-bite theme for Romania is "come as a tourist, leave as a friend." Drac

"Romania: Don't worry, Draculaz keeps pretty much to himself" And equal time on my own turf: "Tennessee: Less in-bred than you think" or "Tennessee: Come for the music, leave because you're sick of it"

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

"Romania, Rich in culture. Come share the Wealth"

Came up with this after cruising some of that site.
Beautiful place.

OK, can't resist. "Connecticut!! We put our politicians in jail!"

"Romania: Europe's Best Kept Secret" I'm not certain whether I lifted it from somewhere else, it possibly was even a slogan for Croatia. BTW, Bryster... "Scotland. Not far from London. Not far enough. This message sponsored by the Welsh Tourist Board" From Spitting Image. :-)))))

Romainia the future of Europe.- Means whatever you think it does. Dracula may suck but Romainia does not. Visit the site of the 2248 Olymics in Bucharest today. If you're hungry and in Hungry take a short trip south for a bite.

I dunno know drac I think you need to look beyond just your name sake, as you probably are, but there is so much...*LORE* associated with that area of the world. I think you need to go in the direction of but not exactly with: Romania: The birthplace of legends, where legends are/were born...something along that line The link is a list of state slogans from the US. Please note Colorado does not have one...we're too busy snowboarding and what not to bother...
