Hi, how do I make clothes "pose" with the body? I have used the "conform to" command and that's fine, but if I apply certain poses to the figure, the clothes don't pose with them... I also don't understand how to see some of the new clothes I recently added. I thought I followed instructions as to what directory to unzip the files to, but I still don't see them in the library.

Try posing your figure first. When you are satisfied with the pose...add the conforming clothing. With adding new clothing...well..the textures go in your texture file under poser....the others should go into library..under charactors...clothing..The cr2 and rsr files. You might want to put a name there like "my clothes" or something.

Always make sure you are posing your PRIMARY figure that the clothes are conformed to. Also, if you are trying to pose a figure with a long dress into a siting position- Forget it unless you're real good with magnets and/or making morphs.

Hi, Thanks you guys... That's what I was wondering.. I am trying to pose this girl in a sitting/kneeling position.. LOL it ain't working! I guess I gotta go back to the drawing board..

I too appreciate the above tips. Am I correct in assuming that, in order to animate a figure with comformable clothing, that one would have to adjust the clothing in almost every key frame to keep the figure from busting through the clothes in places?

Sounds like it. that sucks...

Well, the PRIMARY figure can be taken care of via HIDING the body parts that are supposed to be FULLY covered in clothing. If it's a PARTIAL covering by clothing, then a transperancy map on the primary figure in that area might work. Seems that would be a lot of trouble. I am still experimenting around with the posable SITTING dress situation :o) If I come up with a solution, it'll be posted in a new thread here.

Thanks a lot, Warrior! I will definitely keep checking this newsgroup. I have had Poser for about 10 months now, but haven't REALLY spent time learning it. Mostly do what I need to do in it and then export it into a wavefront obj to use in Bryce...
