lol You're right about x-y-z trans. So, what I'll probably do is include a M3, V3 and unsmarted PP2 file. I've been avoiding having to use UVMapper. Yet, another app to become mediocre at.

UVmapper: For an object like this, just specify Box mapping, then save the model and save the template. UVmapper will give you a nice easy-to-visualize template to work with.

I wish I could be mediocre in them. I can't seem to get out of the starting gate with most of them. Wardrobe Wizard is the only "addon" that I've purchased that I still use... only because it's done inside Poser and is pretty much made for the poser dummy, like me.

heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi

I'd like to offer up this .obj Katana I made for I scene I'm working on as a freebie. I'd like people to be able to download it and use it as a prop with materials applied. So, newbies like me can use it with little hassle. The picture here was rendered in Bryce. How do I apply the texture to the handle like I did here, but in Poser? And other than the default metalic materials, how do you make your own?
Do I need to smart prop it to every character separately (ie: V3, M3, Don, Judy, James, Jessie etc)? The reason why I ask this, is that I originally smart propped it to Glamorous Vickie, but when I apply it to M3, the sword isn't quite in his hand.
