Hello again folks. Interesting question this time: I was playing in Poser 5 and created a custom character using the PreTeenVicky character. When I try to use it in Studio the program won't locate the .obj files and gives me line errors for the rest of the base file. Any suggestions of why custom characters won't work in Studio?

It may be that the OBJ file was compressed - if you did anything with the grouping tool to cause Poser to save a new version, for example. In that case the find file dialogue won't display the file (it lists only .obj) but if you go to the right folder and type .obz after the name it should load (in my limited experience). If the reference is unchanged from the initial load then I'm not sure what is going on.
