I would like to know some ways to make mist in a bryce image, either in the program itself or post processing. One example (but not limted to it) would be the link above. Thanks if you can help!

Not sure, but the image you have referenced looks a bit to me like it's just two cloud planes above and below the camera and not volumetric at all. I could be wrong. The link is to a tutorial for my favorite mist texture. You can also tweak it a bit (add more texture channels for the density is what I did) and it looks very good.

If you have Photoshop or Paint Shop, you can use one of my fav plugins from Ulead called Particle. It works very nicely & has many great effects. ")
