I just heard from Tim a few minutes ago and he knows what the problem is with the server and will be working to resolve it. Hopefully be back up and running soon.

I'll pass on your vote for Forum Mod of the year to Andy.  There will surely be no "living" with him now...he will have the Big Head, hahahaha

I just heard from Tim again and its not going to be as easy of a fix as he first thought so it might take a little time to get it up and running.

I'll keep you informed of the progress.

As I stated earlier, it is not going to be a quick fix but they are working on this. We will get it up and running as soon as possible.

No one is ever in the chat, so you aren't missing anything.  If you got in you would probably find yourself all alone and by yourself with just you, yourself and your other self for company :)

LadyFrog, MrM, Laerrus, sixstring and 4 others from June and 2 newbies were in there the night before it crashed.

there were usually folks in chat when I used it. but I hadda quit - too many creepy whispers from little boys :lol: and since angel left, I suppose there's no mod, which is not good IMVHO. if it's actually true there's no mod. the last time I checked, ofthepast was in there with x8ui (sp?), but no mod visible. my suggestion would be to hire vike to be chat-mod. I trust her to do a good job.

Er...I use the chatroom, among others such as the ones Vikinglady listed. There were about 8 people in it the other night (when it was working :P) That has to be a record in recent days!

I've been trying to get in for 2 days!!! It's getting lonely here at work :P

Day three now of chat being down every time I try. But chat has died anyhow. Dunno if it was the various technical problems, or the flirt at moderation, or competition. Heck, one of the few reasons I ever came in was to get the news -- when the rest of Rendo's site was running so mud-slow it was too frustrating to try to read the forums. (Vastly improved now, and thank you.)

all this talk of CHAT - i'm still in the chat thing on my own well ok there aare 3 users in there hmmm
funny that coz there's 3 threads about the chat room but yet no-one is in there,
1st 10 users to come in the room & say hi win a toaster (compliments of admin) (goods may not be exchanged for other items & figures & accesories noy included ;) )
