Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 09 4:28 pm)
Those are hard coded into Poser. Easiest way is to copy the channels from an existing figure. If you have not already got it get this free CR2 editor by John Stallings from:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/PoserTECH/files/
Open your figure's CR2 file in the left hand pane.
Open the P4 male CR2 in the right hand pane.
Scroll to the hand actor.
Expand to see the channels.
Copy the Grasp, Spread and thumb grasp channels over to your new figure.
Later Poser figures use ERC code which is different so don't be confused by that.
You can use ERC. Thats creating a master dial which will affect the existing bend dials on the body parts.
You can get some details ERC Download Page there.

I just created a simple Poser figure. (not an easy task!) I created the bones and grouped it in the Setup Room and adjusted the joints using the Joint Editor. So far so good. Everything seems to be twisting, turning and bending well. Now my question is this, how can I create a Parameter dial which will bend two or three body parts together? Like the "Grasp" dial on the hand of the Standard Poser Figure which makes all the fingers and the thumb, bend together. I want to create a similar dial for my character's hands so that I can make all his fingers bend together without having to adjust each fingers parameters individiually. Is it possible to create such a dial? If so, please explain to me how. Thank you so much :-)
