Subject: Best render setting?

 Hi.. I haven't render many renders in D|S and wonder what render settings get the sharpest,most realistic render??

Depends on what you're rendering, your shaders and your lighting used. Also, you're goning to get better quality (and speed) from DS3, than using DS2)

Too many factors to give a one-size-fits-all answer.

You could look at the tutorials here...I seem to remember a couple that deal with that subject.  Or look at the Daz tutorial site..at least it would give you a starting place.

The first thing to do is lower the shading rate -- the default value of 1 is fine for draft renders, but for a sharp image you'll want to lower it to .5 or .2 -- but it will take longer to render.

As AnnieD said "You could look at the tutorials here....". Under Renderosity tutorial section for Daz Studio there is a good a tutorial called Optimising render settings in DAZ|Studio.

Note, if you do decrease your shading rate as mishamcm said then render time would be longer but the image would be sharper.

As AniMajikgraphics "Too many factors to give a one-size-fits-all answer". After two years I'm still experimenting.
