Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 15 11:01 am)
I suggest not using the universal pose option. Use the single check mark to apply as original pose. Any morphs applied that change the limb lengths will mess up the pose.
A universal pose recalculates the positions based on differences in the limb length, so they are better than just applying a pose from another character, they are nor perfect.
A pose made with a character should apply exactly to the same character.
Had already tried that one, markschum, but ahh... I found what it was.
I had applied Pose Magic to the origninal pose and the saved pose was not recognizing its pose. Too bad, now I have to go back and resopose without using Pose Magic and I'm sure it will work because once I removed Pose Magic the pose was exactly what the new david was showing in its pose when applying universal pose from the previous character.
Hope that made sense.

I have saved a pose (David 3) to my library (poser 8) and then opened up another david 3 character, applied the pose and it doesn't apply exactly what was saved. Does anybody know why or how to get poser to do it right?
