Conforming the clothing won't work without major tweeking and editing because, the joints for the two figures are completely different. Things like bikinis or skirts may work without a lot of work, but clothing that have sleeves and legs are going to be a real pain to fix without the use of other software.
You can use Clothes Converter or Crossdresser to fit Aiko 4 clothes to/from Aiko 3.

I have both pograms and use them on simple clothing meshes. They give you a fair result but can distort intricate clothes mesh (buckles, strings, etc). Also somethimes they can stuff up the fall off zones causing clothes to break apart when posing.
Important note: these conversion programs are CPU intensive.
Oops! I just noticed you didn't want to use a converter.
Well then my advise is to give up now unless you have a LOT of patience to do manual adjustment. I spent several hours getting M4 hoofs to fit to K4 on my recent render.

Just as amandagirl15701 says conforming (or parenting) clothing between different figures just won't work for many reasons.
Sorry but there is no easy way.
a3 is a generation 3 figure, before the new gen4 ones, it can share v3 skins but yes the grouping and joints are not compatable to a4 which is a gen4 as in v4 figure.
you would need a lot of patience to tweek clothes for one to fit anouther, deformers may be of a help here for poke thru.

Hello I am new to the Daz/Poser gang and I work with Aiko4 a lot and I've tried google searches but didn't get much. I was wondering what are the differences between Aiko 3 and 4. Can I use stuff for Aiko4 that was made for 3, with little or no mod to the outfit without a converter??
