*Move & Parent* ... It's sort of like *Love & Marriage* ... well, sort of ... 😄 Use the Hierarchy Editor to Move and Parent objects.

Note - An Object's position in the list DOES NOT define a hierarchy.

A Parent/Child relationship defines the hierarchy.

When we "parent" one object to another object, e.g., parent the fwd land gear to the MAIN BODY, we still have two separate objects ... but ... the fwd land gear will now move, scale, and rotate when the MAIN BODY's parameters are changed.

CAUTION: The fwd land gear, i.e., the child, can still be moved, scaled, or rotated by itself with no effect on the parent object.  >>> The child may be moved out of it's desired position. <<<

Now let's "attach" the fwd land gear to the MAIN BODY so that it will move with the MAIN BODY of the FlyingWing.

CLICK on the object (the child) to be parented to another object (the parent) and DRAG it to the parent.  This establishes the hierarchy of these two objects.

Can you guess what is ... Next ... ??????????
(hint - the answer is on the image)

Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"

Here's the *"secret"* ... Poser was designed for organic, i.e., humanoid type figures, so the "Bend" function is turned ON by default.  We want to turn "Bend" OFF for mechanical figures like the Wingandaprayer figure.

Now, let's venture into the notorious Setup Room ... :scared: ___ YAAAA !!!
There's no bones about it, the Setup Room can be pretty scary but only because we don't know what's in there.  Let's go find out ... :blink:___ Uh, er, ok, I think ???

Wow! This is all coming together great! Thanks so much, Doc. Over in the UV Mapper forum, UV Dan is helping me get my textures straightened out. Yeah, I had a problem with that, too. Like I said to him, it sure seems like I made a messy model.

I'm taking the steps he's outlining to help me with that, and saving them as a PowerPoint presentation so I can take a good, long look at them later. I'm doing the same with everything you're showing me - saving it to view in-depth later. With work, and home/family responsibilities, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it the last couple of days, but I'm hoping to be able to do so within the next day or so.
