If the figure contains joint controlled morph (JCM's) you'll either need to match those in the clothing or dial them to zero in the figure.

and/or:-

Some figures include joint controlled magnets so these may need to be applied to the clothing. Check with the figure's documentation.

ooook, how is that done?

PhilC ( ) posted Sat, 14 January 2012 at 4:25 PM

I checked the figure and it appears that magnets have not been used.

For the morphs you'll need to search for the various morph dials and set their values to zero. Only difficulty here is that DAZ have set all of those dials to be hidden. Probably to prevent users from hurting themselves.

For the amount of poke through you may just want to use a magnet to expand the cloth slightly at those points. Or use the Morph Tool. I'd probably use the morph tool.

Or you could use Wardrobe Wizard to create an Inflate morph over the entire model.

Hope that gives you some pointers to a few of the options that spring to mind.

Can you post a screen shot of your grouping of the garment?  It actually looks like the lCollar is trying to load on the lShldr.......

Does it load conformed correctly in DS? (which version?)

The "choppiness" is probably your falloff zones.  They likely need to be improved.  It may just be that the falloff zones are causing that in Poser, though I've never seen that happen even with bad falloff.

Have you looked at the falloff zones?  Your groups look good.

The "bulge" in the 2nd graphic with the arm up, is definitely the falloff zone.

how do i fix the falloff zones?

There are a lot of tutorials around on the DS Figure Setup Tool.  You are specifically looking for tutorials on the Joint Editor for falloff zones.

YouTube has quite a few videos.
