Can you change the image resolution (not zoom in the camera, enlarge the object) to where you have enough of the desired surface showing even with the color window? Then, after doing the paint, just "undo" or reload to the original image resolution.
I doubt you can adjust the size of the color window - never tried in P7 since it was not a bother for me.

This is admittedly a minor thing, but it's driving me INSANE.
the giant brains at Smith Micro saw fit to make the window for the color picker tool appear ON TOP OF THE THING YOU ARE TRYING TO COLOR. moving the window or camera is useless, it will HUNT YOU DOWN and appear almost on top of the cursor wherever you dare to click.
So in other words you can't see what you're doing. Is there any way to MOVE the damn window or force it to popup somewhere else? I'm using Poser Pro 2012.
... whew... i feel a little better after that rant.
