Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
you'd need to set specular to 0, remove reflect if there is any, etc.

you could save it to the material library as a transparency preset,
then it'll be one click from now on.

As above - set diffuse/highlight/ambient/reflection to solid black 0,0,0 from the color picker. Transparency AND Edge to 100% with no map. Save to material library for later use.

Hello!
I have just started working with Poser 10 after a long time using DAZ Studio and there is one thing where I need a little help:
How can I make parts of clothes (or shoes, hair, or whatever) invisible or remove them completely when I dont want them?
In DAZ Studio I opened the surfaces tab, looked for the material zone and turned its opiacity to 0%. Then it was gone, in preview and in the render.
In Poser 10 I tried the same in the material room and set the transparency to 100%. But that does not work. It becomes transparent, but the outlines are still visible, which makes it a bit look like glass.
So, how is that done correctly in Poser 10?
Thanks in advance!
