Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 20 11:41 am)
Funny; I just replied to Bruce Hoins in a discussion over at the RDNA Forum that people still had problems with EXP's 7 years on because the figure wasn't initialized, and I come and find this!
I'd post how to do it, but I can't seem to paste into the POST!!! >:( I'll try putting it in a new post...

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."You initialize the V4 figure by browsing to the 'folder you installed your stuff'/runtime/libraries/!DAZ and Click on both: (in Windows; there are Mac scripts in the same directory)
DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat
DzCreateExPFiles-V4V3.bat
EDIT: Also do this with the .bat/.command files for M4 and his bits, too
Add this to the FAQ, Boni! :)
The Forum doesn't seem to like line feeds in pasted text..

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."I had read on the RDNA forum that I needed to run Poser as administrator for the morphs to work. I had forgotten that, but now after selecting run as administrator it will no longer run the command files! I get message that Windows needs to know what program to use to open it. Morphs still do not work.
Make sure there is only one copy of the V4 cr2 and one copy of the directory /Runtime/Libraries/!DAZ/Victoria 4/ in your Poser Library...

I have only two runtimes and have a copy of V4 in each. I really only plan to use V4,2 in the second runtime. Should I delete V4 in the first runtime? I think that I also have M4 in both and morphs are now loading properly on him.

Definitely! Make sure that there is only one copy of the morphs too; the morph packages for the Gen 4 figures need to all be in the same Runtime as the base figure.
There really should only be one copy of M4, too, but since he seems to be working properly I wouldn’t fool with him unless you have problems later.

I had a hard drive crash and had to reload Poser 2014 and reinstall Victoria 4. I have everything loaded, but when I load a morph it does not appear under morphs in the body. You can only see it in the body part. For example: If I load hip size, before I could select the body and see all of the morphs and adjust them from there. Now I must select the hip to see the hip morph or the chest to see breast size. The problem is some morphs affect more than one body part. Full body morphs like Amazon or Fitness don't show at all. How do I fix this problem?
