Subject: Paypal without Credit Card?

elele ( ) posted Sun, 24 January 2016 at 6:10 AM · edited Sat, 23 November 2024 at 11:04 PM

Hello

How can I buy something with Paypal but without Credit Card? I check Paypal, but I can't check out unless I enter a Credit Card Number.

Thanks!

If you check the PayPal button and continue it should give you a summary then click the PayPal(place order) button to transfer you direct to PayPal to finalize the transaction. You do not need to enter your credit card details.

You have to delete all the entries in the Credit Card payment and then you will be able to pay via PayPal.

I'm using Firefox. I check the Paypal option and try to hit the submit button, but it won't let me until I put something in all the credit card fields. I can't delete what's in there because there's actually nothing in those fields. I get around it by putting something in all the fields, like putting just a number "1" in all the fields. Then it works and I can clilck the paypal button on the next page to pay the balance. Pretty stupid workaround for a bug that shouldn't be there in the first place. I was one of the folks that got my credit card info stolen last year. Luckily, I have a good bank that put a hold on the card the moment it happened and didn't lose any money.

I'll never use a credit card at this site again.

The only thing you have to put in is a blank but only the first time, afterwards it worked for me as it should work, just cklick the button and it continues.

The fact that you have to enter anything in when using Paypal is idiotic in and of itself. And every time I want to buy something via Paypal, I have to put something in each of the blank fields to trick it into going to the next page. I can't leave anything blank because it keeps telling me I have to fill in those blanks before it will continue...every single time I check out.

Hello,

We found this to happen mostly with FireFox and it's been since their latest updates. The problem is intermittent from what we have been told which makes it very difficult to duplicate.

It does happen with other browsers as well depending on what extensions are attached to the toolbar and cache. Please try going through your extensions to see if there is anything odd attached to your toolbar and clear your cache. This should help.

If you are running FireFox, please be sure you are on the latest version as you will keep having the issues if you are on the older version of FireFox and possibly even Internet Explorer.

Warmest Regards,

Kristi

How do I find the place where my payment method is? I can't find it anywhere. I need to update the expiration date on my cc and can't find anywhere how to find it.

When you click on checkout to buy your purchases you can enter the Credit cards expiration date.

Hello, if anyone is having issues because the "place order" button doesn't enable and you are paying in a non-US country, the issue is the ZIP code. I already told the devs, but it case they haven't fixed it yet:

  • Select USA as country
  • Only feel ZIP code with a zip code for your country
  • Select your country back and fill the stuff
  • Click save

You will notice that you can fill your credit card things, or use the PayPal section and the button will be enabled.
