DAZ|Studio F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 03 7:47 am)
Be aware that some content will not port over easily. Also, depending how ancient is your collection and whether purchases/freebies were downloaded from DAZ3D, there may exist exclusive DAZStudio files which will need to be installed rather then using Poser files. Further investigation is necessary.
The easiest way if you have a lot of runtimes, is to go to the content pane and click on the icon to the upper right which looks like 4 lines and an arrow. From the dropdown select "search Hard drives for files". A dialog will come up. select the hard drive that your runtimes are on, then on the next dialog select "do search. When it finishes searching, uncheck any runtimes that you don't want to load in Daz. (if you want to use all of them then leave all the boxes checked), then select "accept".
