Delicate issue. Freestuff. Non smart content. Deleted it once inside daz then reloaded and hunted down following the tree and deleted. While it deletes there is still part of it in the viewport. Big rectangle in the middle 1/3 of the viewport. Product functions after help from maker except standard starting focus range is hosed and results in the render being different from the viewport. Very frustrating. KEVIN
Found something06-17Save6 useful. In the upper right of the viewport there is a dropdown and by shutting off "Show aspect frame and Show thirds guide" I get rid of the rectangle and the grid inside the rectangle. Now only problem remaining is the position of the G3 to viewport. Thinking this could be the default camera. What XYZ should the default camera be at load?
Ah that sounds as if you had a background set in the Environment pane - if it was a solid colour that would have made a rectangle (though it should not have shown up unless you loaded a sceen with that set up - you can't, in 4.9, 4.8, and possibly 4.7, set the Environment persistently between sessions).
I suspect that the offset is not that the camera is misplaced but that the render aspect ration (as shown by the frame) is wide compared to its height - render size does persist between sessions, it can be set in the General group of Render Settings>Editor tab (you will need to turn Constrain Aspect ratio off first).

If so where and will it wipe out my loaded content. If I reload the same Daz 4.9 will that load on top of the existing version and leave content alone.
Thanks KEVIN
