4.10 is installed and run's. a lot of new stuff the way it works ect. when wanting to render a figure or scene a popup come's up and say's no render engine. Iray is there,figured the same as studio 4.9,What gives am I missing something ? win 7 pro operating system.

In the past I have seen a number of issues that can cause this.

Did you use DIM to install?

Is DS installed on an external drive?

Are you using a default installation path or a custom one?

Sometimes certain file paths may cause issues such as special characters used in some languages.

Razor42 I used a zip from Daz3d. C drive program files Dim downloaded to my download file so I used the zip I got from my file area at Daz3d.Do you think I should use dim? should I start over? Thank's for your idea's

What GPU? The minimum requirement has changed with the new vrsion of Iray included so if's an old card (4x0 I think) it may no longer be supported (though CPU should still work).

RHaseltine; thank's for response,card is asus Nvida 750ti 2gb,Cpu is AMD 955 black running at3.5 gb,.By the way the public beta 4.10 renders fine .The beta is installed by DIM into c: program files,The studio 4.10 is in users public,public documents ,MY DAZ 3D Library ,. Should I untick the gpu mark in advanced Iray area?

A 750Ti should certainly be working, that's what I have (though not with the latest drivers, by any means). You shouldn't have an application in the documents folder, though whether that's the root of your issue I can't guess.

Not to bother anybody further, but can I just move the studio file from users to drive c:?

I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling - even if moving iss till safe, and I haven't tried since DS2, if you are trying to trouble-shoot it's best to do things by the letter.

Ok found the problem studio 4.10 as installed doe's not recognize the video card,so installed and reinstalled to drive D: program files Daz3d . everything is shipshape now . Thank's for the help that made me think. good day 😃
