I chose to retain my preferences, but also just copied the appropriate files from the Roaming folder I wanted to retain. Retaining my preferences did the trick, so I just moved the saved files to my external hard drive, just in case.

I actually finally found it, and the problem was a non-standard installation that it did differently this time than the last time. My C drive is for booting up only, all that's supposed to be on there is my OS, so I install to my E drive. I have my Users folder on my E drive as well and last time it used that, but this time it created a new one on my C drive and put my stuff in there. >__< Bad installer, naughty! But at least I found it. Whew. Boy, stuff just really doesn't like you to choose your own installation destinations these days.
