Okay, I had thought about the glossy layered weight as that is close to how it's done in Poser, couldn't get it to do quite what I wanted. I will futz with it some more and chalk it all up to learning new things through the practice of old style hack it until you get it.

Got another question about doing something in DAZ Studio that escapes me.
I'm wanting to create a material for an outfit that has a pattern that is more visible in direct light, and less visible where the light isn't so strong.
Like this:
Do you see how the skirt texture fades in and out based on the lighting? I'd like to do the same in DS how would I do this?
