Did the entire map reapply wrong, or was it just the handle that went "wonky"? If it was the whole map, you might have reset the whole map to a different mapping mode. If it's only the handle, you've picked the wrong mapping mode for the handle. When you applied the original map (where the seams stretched), did the handle come out okay? Paul
When i used planar mapping for the whol cup the seam was stretched for the base of the cup but the handle was fine-so i tried a cylinder and cap map and the seam was fine but the handle was not applied correctly. Now the third map i used cylinder and cap for the base and i seperated the handle and used planar since it had worked before-when i did that the whole map applied incorrectly-like not even close- is this just an imperfect thing or can i really get maps to apply correctly with anything using uv mapper?

Well thanks to the help on here ive got the texture maps applying corectly-but still one problem-i wrapped a texture around a simple cup-where the seam connects the map seems to have been stretched to connect the seam-causing the texture to be distorted-it might be like overwrapping the texture? Any ideas? Thanks
