I like her :) she looks like everyday people to me! How do I give her a smaller mouth ? Used Vairesh's Gwenavere hair, and flower is one of Catharina Prezak Harders plants

I haven't bought her yet. I have read all the debates. I agree though. She does look like an average woman. Not the picture perfect, every boy's dream fuel, woman. I think she has great potential.

Geweez she is nice...I have not gotten her yet either. Don't seem to have time to get new characters, but you did a really nice job on her. Sharen

i just purchased dina - if you remember the thread a week or two ago about her being the 'perfect' model then youll also remember that i was one of the people who voiced negative opinions. that was simply based on other people's work that i had seen in the gallery and forum. now that ive purchased her, i can say that im a little disappointed - she doesnt pose well, she looks like a linebacker, and you have to buy an entirely new set of clothing, textures, poses, etc for her. im also quite disappointed with the lack of morphs for her, making it next to impossible to change her default appearance. however, i do see the potential - since she is an extremely high-res model, there is an awesome potential for morphs to be made to mold her into almost anything. but until they are made, im afraid dina is going to sit on my harddrive unused. this is just my opinion, everyone should evaluate her for themselves and decide wether or not shes right for them. but if youre on a tight budget, that $30 is better spent on the vicky morph clothing pack which allows you to morph vicky2 into whatever body shape/style you want, giving you endless possibilities. as for dina - i suggest that her creators/advocates get moving and create a 'mega dina morph pack' or something along those lines which gives more morph control and detail, or youre going to start hearing more posts like this one.

HM Seeing Dina's face makes my fingers itch - I would love to try to make morphs for her face to make her look more beautiful... but... don't have her :-( And I don't think she's good enough so I would buy her, I'd rather concentrate on one figure like Vicki, who's gut a lot of support.

You think she looks ugly on the one I posted above where she's on the rug? The only post work on that one is the background and where her skirt meets her leg, I kinda messed it up :) My son was just here and he looked at her in poser before I did anything to her and he doesn't think she's ugly :) Also forgot to mention the hair is Dana Hair by Vairesh :)

yes pokey, in the pic where shes on the rug she looks damn scary - i would run from a woman with biceps and deltoids that big. skygirl - the last image that you posted is nice... but id attribute that to the pose, lighting and postwork and not to the model. if you had used vicky2 in that rendering i think it would have come out much nicer - dina's harelip or overbite or whatever that is really shows, and so does her beak nose, flabby cheeks and receeding chin. ok now im being a little too hard on the girl, lol. but im sorry, i STILL dont see anything attractive about her -- am i really that picky?

pokeydots ( ) posted Thu, 11 October 2001 at 4:40 PM

How did you come up with harelip?

LOL, what do I see ? This is (as every time we talk Dina, I guess) just a matter of personal taste. Blackhearted, you like Vicky 2 and find her pretty. I have had Poser for something like 2 years, looked at it and never used it. Not even Vicky made me interested in that program. Then I saw Dina, and that was it. I find Dina charming and pretty. Our discussion is kind of nothing as long as we talk personal teste...pretty or not. The moment we talk about the possibilities of the figures the discussion would have content (or what ever you call it in english) and be useful, but not untill then...thats just my opinion. Sky :-)
