What we have in the galleries and forums isn't trolls, it's trawlers. It's just too much of a bother most times to try to re-educate people, especially online. Can't begin to tell you how many times I've gone "AAARRRGGGGHHHH" when I see someone use "then" when they mean "than" or "impact" when they mean "affect" or even when they confuse "affect" with "effect" around here. Drives me bonkers. And now they're talking about removing the analogy section from the SAT's???? oops...sorry, wandered of on a tangent on that last sentence. So, back to the point. Ron, you've been in this thread as long as I have. And "emotional energy" hasn't been spent at all. I don't know how much trouble you take in posting text and forming opinions that you believe in, but for me it requires very little expenditure of energy/emotional investment. I certainly understand that some people, however, really sweat forming an opinion and sticking to it.

First of all, Hiram. I am, and always have been arrogant. But, i am fair, and honourable. You talk as if you have been here a long, long time. You first posted in February. So you give ME a break. Through this whole thread, something was nagging at my brain....nope...not feed me. Most of the folks who replied to orphea are so new that they would not remember this. i barely remembered it, because, i was getting ready for my annual vacation to the keys, and, then, moving into my new condo. today, it clicked. i remembered and did a little research on your pal orphea... here's what i came up with.... first post by to this forum by orphea on 2/25 of this year....Titled..."Newbie says 'hi'. This had a link to his gallery. 2/26...a "thank you" and...another link to his gallery. 2/27...yup...yet, ANOTHER link to his gallery. 3/3....a post saying, in essence, "I've had my first TROLL...i must have arrived". and, on this same date....the thread.... a. I've been a R'osity member for about two years, maybe more, I just delurked in February. I switched usernames when I did this and I have the e-mails with Clint to back that up. b. Tenure here means about, oh, nothing. Your above comment to Ron shows that even you accept this. Even trolls (or trawlers, hauk ; ) ) can have longevity. Poppi, you do so much to diminish the capacity of this site. You have no understanding of how to get along with people. You persist when you're told to mind your manners. Why not just drop it? Or don't you have better things to do? Why not go back to the Keys and let that sun wash over you and bring a smile?

This is a pet peeve of poppi's and orphea is not the first artist to draw fire for it. One time the person actually posted a link to their off-site store, which was obvious fron the URL, but she clicked anyway, then bitched about spam, which on that occasion it was. But that thread was brief and reason won out, she even helped the guy out a little. We all know this is an exagerrated complaint, let's just drop it. I think she's been quite eloquent in communicating what her issues are. See ya's. I'm all out of troll food.
