LOL.... funny topic but you are right, also hairless arm pits, maybe it's just hard to do, since i don't make textures i'm not sure, but looking at the texture in photoshop, it might be hard to get the hair there and have it look right.......... Change of topic, Ron please please do a tutorial on how to make mor files with the new mat edit, i keep getting no morphs found :) and of course there are morphs there
Hmmm... Scotum hair, or even armpit hair wouldn't look right if drawn on the texture map. Body hair... OK. Pubic hair... OK, but "sprouty" hair may be better suited to a trans hair object. Cos it's sort of sticky-outy. Reminds me of a joke... Man walks into Chemists Shop (drugstore) Q. Excuse me, Sir, I need some deodorant please. A. Ball or aerosol? Q. No, I need it for my armpits. H:)
as painful as it sounds.....perhaps someone could remap the genitals by remapping the entire area.....split them down the middle and unroll them.....(ouch...did i just say that????) or even export the genitals, then remap, then bring it back in as a smart prop, i.e. Lee Moon's genital prop from way-back...
Who does the textures? If its a man, don't expect him to spend too much time studying the hair on his balls in order to get it right. However, if the texture is of a female and a male is doing it, do expect him to spend a lot of time observing and perfecting the hair on her genitals. Unless she has balls, then don't expect the male modeler/texturer to observe very much there.
"She had more pit hair than I have hair..and it was scary... I told them steroids were a bad idea." I know this may come as a surprise to some of you, but left on their own, womens pits are capable of producing quite a thatch. In fact, nature pretty much designed them that way. Peculiar idea, huh? I, for one, kind of like it. Stubbly pits with chalky anti-perspirant caked in the creases just never struck me as sexy. When I see an attractive woman in public with unshaven pits I tend to think of in as a sneak preview.
Thank you, Hiram. {hug} I haven't shaved my pits in 30 years... or more. I've only shaved my legs once in that interval (a job interview and I wore a neatly tailored houndstooth skirt suit). Being blonde, it doesn't show much, and it is a lot more comfortable than itchy, irritated skin. I like beards on men. It's better than beard burn and fun to play with. Belly buttons are fascinating, too. While dating an astrophysicist, I ran my finger around his belly button and asked if the event horizon for a black hole was spherical. He responded that it depended upon the speed of rotation. :) Not many men can think on multiple levels like that. Corn row braiding. ::sigh:: Someday I'll date a guy with enough chest hair to braid. The other day I was paying more attention to my work, and noticed the man had no hair on his scrotum (he had no hair on "his balls!") That surely had to be wrong. Don't men have hairy balls? The answer is yes. So why do all Poser men have hairless balls? Is it a Poser defect? Or do the artists who create textures fail to "research their subjects?!" This may seem picky or gross to some of you, but I think it's important. The thought came up this morning when I looked some characters created by an artist who is famous for her realistic textures. All her men have hairless balls too.
