I had a project open in Poser and decided to try what I mentioned above. Here is an Image of my Space Girl and new FREE Space Ball over in FreeStuff. The floor is actually a Flat SpaceBall with the transparency set to 60%. The link is for the gallery post that I made earlier.I haven't tried a mirrored floor (or ceiling) yet.
Video clip (MPEG format, 1.37MB)
100% Poser render. I rendered each reflection separately by placing the camera behind the mirror. Once I had the video rendered, I flipped it horizontally so it would be a true mirror image, then moved the camera back into the studio and imported the "reflection" video as a background animation.
It's a simple trick when the camera is stationary, but a nightmare to get everything aligned properly when you add camera movement.
To get a mirrored floor effect, I'd make the floor invisible, stick the camera underneath, render the "reflection", then flip the image vertically and import it as a background. Then I'd put the camera above the floor, align it so the background lines up with the characters and setting, and render the final image.
Wow! Very clever, Little D. I can just imagine the grin on your face as this thing came together. Excellent work! BTW, (way off topic) did you ever use a terminal program called Access! ? (just curious).
