Personally, i very much like the composition with the dragon sitting on the heather like that :o)
Its probably a female Ruddy Darter (Sympetrum sanguineum), but i didnt get a real good look though.

Another fine capture with outstanding compo! oh, i keep looking at all your images hoping i can one day take such fabulous fotos. sigh Guess it takes time! I did get my first my first decent capture of one of these guys...as well as my first "wild" butty shot! i'll try to find time to post in the forum. Anyway, i love how you captured his wings in motion and his head turned, looking at the cam! What a sweet shot!!!

When you visit the forests it is as if all the bugs pose for you enabling you to shoot one top shot after another until you get lost in woods. But then there are mushrooms guiding your way out! :)
