Description

The melt-water of the glacier has changed the appearance of this little plain, moulding it by the meandering streams. The pebbles are deposited on the back and the finer material is deposited on this muddy plain. The variety of the simple combination of water and mud that results in this ever changing natural artwork fascinates me. I can feel the coldness of the water from here. I can even feel the wind indicated by the little water waves and mud sculpture. Excellent capture. Aloha

This reminds me of how the beach looks when it's a really low tide. That's when the wind gets to really whipping around too. I love the color of this water. Would this be from a mineral of some sort in the Glacier itself? By the way... how old is this glacier you've been showing us?

On a hot summer's day it's a nice place for a refreshing footbath, I suppose. The shape of the sedement reminds me of the structure of a human brain. But this thought might be the result of enjoying whisky last night. ;-)
