Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

Its interesting to see the cloud following the curve of the landscape. This lake is SOooooo beautiful especially along side of the clouds. I hate to see your vacation end as I hate to see this series end. Excellent and thanks for sharing. Aloha

I don't want to think of such accidents as having a blocked camera since I use a negative cammera as well. I love those curves and the chromatica of the scene. I hope that it won't be a "next time" when it comes of that "accident"! Alles gute!

My favorite image from this series of yours, as if the clouds hug the mountain on the way to finding another jet stream to follow []/;^)

The clouds make this perspective surreal. This is very cool. You simply must get your camera fixed.
