Description

Boy it's been a while since I posted! I hope this looks okay, I bought a new Apple notebook (my first) and Photoshop elements 4.0. I decided I would not post again until I could get the photo edited on the new machine. Well between being busy and having a huge learning curve with the new hardware/software it has taken me a while to get back to RR. Anyway this is the "happy dance" moth from a couple of weeks ago. Have my fingers crossed that this is going to post right and look good. Thank you for your much appreciated comments and have a wonderful Sunday! EEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! I SOOOO HATE MOTHS!!!! SHIVERS Im actually terrified of them.....sniff...always hanging out in packs, where theres light. #:o( And their furry little bodies...EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! And the fact that you managed to capture the true essence of their "Eeeeew-iness" is quite a compliment really. Amazing detail on this ugly SOB. #;O)

great shot...i thought it was a little out of focus, then i saw the crystal clear body...awesome pic. do you know what kind of moth it is? i've lost my field guide but it might be a polyphemus or a promethea moth.

Great shot. Isn't that at least part of an ant on the top part of the far wing????? Yes, I'm sure that he did a happy dance for you. Especially with the stories I've heard of fire ants. HUGS!!!
