Hello all!
Here is Chrissy with her inner tube all ready for a swim at silver beach Michagan -all ready to dive in but having to wait for her tummy to settle after a big lunch !!.. Far off, you can see the St. Joe lighthouse and clouds clearing from the previous nights storm in the distance here.. My girls loved the saltless waves -just like the real beach but it dosn't sting the eyes, and no shark worries LOL!! I wanted to give this a softer painterly look as it reminded me of being daydreamy looking off into the clouds in wonderment as the sky went on and on forever!. You wont believe this but it wasnt posed just how she was standing as we were waiting that day . (I do my best to catch what is natural...)
Power's been out at my home finally bought extention chords and candles here it seems our breakers are not working finally got this compt on - Makes me think of how much we take electricity for granted - how did they do it 150 years ago??..lol -probally just sat around the fire and relaxed the way it should be heehee...!

Wow that sky looks fabulous oh and do I detect a lighthouse in the background!!! This is wonderful Kimmers!!! Chrissy looks like she is having fun at the beach :-) It reminds me of my youth, the hot sand, this blistering sun and the fun I used to have at the beach, not to mention that awful sunburn I had at the end of the day...lol This is beautiful photography Kimmers!!! Very beautiful composition! 1/3 of sea and 2/3 of beach. Why? To emphasize "the small cabbage end", the gamine, avce its tire. Splendid sky contrasted well the child amuses me, because it is smiling, but also because I feel that it wants to look at the objective, and to make a great smile. To avoid that, Kimarie has the easy way to make coincide the ragrd with the mole, at the end of the pier. Kimarie, a large artist, and his daughter, excellent model! MARVELLOUS and FRESH!!!

Kimmie! Your photo reminds me of an Amanda Dunbar painting!!! (www.amandadunbar.com - I was in tears a whole evening when browsing her work - hubby thought I was bonkers) I love how the girl looks away, and it makes me wonder what she sees, and what she's thinking. The vastness of the ocean? The next sandcastle she's going to build? Or pondering how to persuade mom and dad how to get her a third icecream. LOL! Next, after the girl, I'm mostly taken by the sky. All beautiful!
