I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

Very good! Lighting is perfect for the mood. The blur on the background was also a good idea.

As a medieval recreationist I think this is an awesome scene.... and as mentioned before.... in battle shields are often lost, destroyed, thrown down, and you grab whatever keeps the sharp pointy things out of you.....

FANTASTIC! Great climax of action. Love how you "focused" the focal point.

Bryce with content! What a dramatic scene. Congrats! The lighting is very nice, reminds me a bit of the great (historical) painters.

I lost the weekend with server problems but back now so I can comment at last. Nancy this is an exceptional piece. The battle scene and posing is excellent here and the darkness works well because this is the way it would have been. There was no electricity in those days, so no spotlights or searchlights to help them identify between friend and foe, they were dark and bloody times and you have captured it beautifully. Congratulations!

As already stated.. itnt strange if weapons and armory get mixed up in a battlefield. I know Ive been in a couple of battles in my apartment. Anyway I think you did a great job. The focus is just Right.
