Description
this is the state line of Oklahoma and Texas.you are looking toward Texas.I have never seen the river this high and Lake Texoma, Denison Dam just to the right about 4 miles has only been so high twice since it was built in the 1940's.it has been over flowing the overflow dam with the main gates wide open.the bridge is a railroad and the US Highway 75 is just to the right.of course before the dam was built the river left it's banks many times flooding the valley for miles in both directions
thanks for having a look and any comments

Excellent capture. Seen this bridge many times. Didn't realize you guys have had as much rain as we have here. The Arkansas River is running really high here in Tulsa as well. I'll have to get down and take a pic of it.

Wow, Richard...water's high for sure. When's it to crest...or has it already? Beautiful perspective in this image...love it :)

what a beautiful shot..thanks for the story too, but my goodness, is that bridge still in use?? if it is, someone ought to give it a good paint job before it rusts away!

Fantastic photo. I love those "ancient" bridges. Look at them reminds me always how our professors tormented us with the computation of the statics. I never had to use that again in my life ;-)

A very well done photo. The high water is a sad reminder of the heavy and continued rains. Nice shot.
