"Food, ya gotta luv it!" ~~~~~
My two entries for the recently closed Photography Food Challenge. Some sliced onion and a slice of Americana. Congrats to Richard on his first place entry and to everyone who entered, there were some tasty images. Have a super Labor Day Weekend everyone! ------
Thank you for your misty comments on my previous upload, Dungeness From Behind It was dark because it was rainy and lightening it would have ruined the mood. ----- Olympus C8080wz & PhotoshopCS. (999) Anywhere, USA 2007 Sponsored by: Kramer Kreations

Wow, glass bottle of Coke! Lol. We don't seem them very often this side of the pond! Love the various colours of the pic. Also would never have guessed the top pic was an onion! Great shots.

Well I have to say I voted for your onion shot. I think it's a very Artistic shot. Love the curved lines, the lighting and juiciness.

Onion looks like a closeup of a hot air balloon caught in a rain storm. Nice shot of the fast food cafeteria fare, but hardly nutritious.

We have one drive in left out here. It's a big hit with the classic car clubs.

Excellently done that black and white picture! It does not look like onion! :)

Great shots! The second one reminds me of the long ago days when A & W had car-side service! I haven't seen that in years!

I love the onion. I might have turned it the other way to make the flow more expected and hence easier to follow but I love it this way as well. The sparkle it had is great. The other one is also great but almost too "set up" for me to relate to. The ice cream cone isn't dripping or running and it has no pile of napkins under or near it. :-) The burger and rings look too good to be true (I want to eat here...) because I don't see the heavy greasy paper under it. :-)The short bottle of coke is great and it brings with it a wonderful feeling but the plastic cap ... don't remember getting that on my tray... anyway, as a fantasy shot it is great. Everything is nice and neat and orderly. I really love the onion! LOL

Never thought an onion looks this good in B&W, I mean IR I guess. Great shot.

I would not have guessed it was an onion and the other photograph is an intresting slice of Americana. Have a great three day weekend. Thank you for sharing. egmont

Love the texture on the top one and the second, the food looks almost plastic, which is probably the right description for fast food ! Fine challenge pix, a shame you didn't win. ~Cheers~ :o)

Two great shots. I love that texture on the onion and I wonder how much crying took place trying to get this shot. The second shot is so typical of fast food, lovely work.

I was going over the second pic marveling at that old steering wheel and metal horn when I noticed the panel of the door. Is that a woody?!? You actually found an old woody for this shot?!? Bravo!
