Description

Hello all!! Trying to learn the animation progressive thing hmmm i did a whole fading effect but they said it was too big and wouldn't keep. I see BIG flaws now but if I did it over it wouldnt be my first attmept huh? lol!!.... Saw this cool Ghost documentry on TV and suddenly got the urge to learn ( are ghosts real whaddya think? !!) ....lol so..My idea was a ghost of a civil war bride still hopefully waiting for her love to return from the war only she died before he got home and still waits by the window ... Anyways this was just a quick exercise here playing around with a pic I took in an old victorian home ( snuck into before it was delapitated lol) .... I had turned off the comments cause i will be gone for the weekend ( going to Santa Barbera to get away from the smoky air and breathe ) but putting them back on asking for advice animation .... feel free to be honest its a learning experience for me here... thanks .... Thanks all your love and support lately and for taking a peek! Love to you all ((( BIG HUGS !))) ~ Kimmers ! ♥ :O)

This is an excellent try...light years beyond what I'd be capable of now. Great mood to the piece and I love the mood imparted. Great details in the room as well! Fantastic and successful attempt if you ask me. I love it!

It's a wonderful 1st attempt Kimmers! Superb concept and perfect for the occation. The problem with animation is the file size limit here at Renderosity. For a more fluid movement, your frame rate needs to be higher, which will push you over the limit.

Hi Kimmers, great job and especially for a first attempts ... I had no problem with the "jerky" kinda thing, but if there was a possiblity next time, if you DO do over, then I'd suggest making sure the railing was in front of her dress skirt. She looks like she's floating outside the railing now... The ambiance is fantastic and the b/w photo of the victorian house is wonderful. You continue to push the limits and evolve - which in itself is proof of a true artist, IMHO.

Well done first attempt. Too bad RR limits had to effect your beautiful work. The concept is really great and came off perfectly. Maybe you will have to find another gallery for animation without limits, then link to it here. :-))) Breath easy, Hugs, Suzanne

love the idea and the animation - i don't think you can do a lot more within the 500 kb - it would have been great to have her fading out again.

Excellent Kimmers, the photo would have to be much smaller to fit more frames in, then maybe the file size would be smaller too. Be safe!
