Hello all!!
Trying to learn the animation progressive thing hmmm i did a whole fading effect but they said it was too big and wouldn't keep. I see BIG flaws now but if I did it over it wouldnt be my first attmept huh? lol!!....
Saw this cool Ghost documentry on TV and suddenly got the urge to learn ( are ghosts real whaddya think? !!)
....lol so..My idea was a ghost of a civil war bride still hopefully waiting for her love to return from the war only she died before he got home and still waits by the window ...
Anyways this was just a quick exercise here playing around with a pic I took in an old victorian home ( snuck into before it was delapitated lol) ....
I had turned off the comments cause i will be gone for the weekend ( going to Santa Barbera to get away from the smoky air and breathe ) but putting them back on asking for advice animation .... feel free to be honest its a learning experience for me here...

I have always been intrigued by ghosts and ghost stories. This is a wonderful animation. The atmosphere is just right, and the animation has a nice effect--I like how she fades into view.

Excellent first try, Kimmers!!! I know I couldn't have done as well. The only flaw I see is that last frame might be a little too solid, the frame before being the perfect balance of transluciency! Great job!!!

I liked it even as a still, the ghost effect. It is good to experiment, you can discover what you didn't realize could be there - the consequences can haunt you in a postive way.

Wow... I love this! I too am interested in knowing about whether or not ghosts exist. My oldest daughter got me interested in watching ghosthunters. She as also gone into a local cemetary with a friend and have done some EVPs of her own. It's quite interesting. I also have an EVP of MY own. I was trying to catch what I figured to be a timed recording of a salesman at a local dealership I used to clean. I'm sure somehow it was set up on a computer maybe using the PA system, so a voice could be heard later when supposedly nobody was around while I cleaned. This was right around Halloween time... While trying to record this to prove it to my boss... I caught something altogether different and was shocked.
