Description

took this last night.I was outside taking sunset pictures and quit.I noticed a glow while watching TV and flew on the roof.then the whole western sky was lit up I took my old dog yesterday to be put to sleep because he could hardly stand up and I know he was in lots of pain.I hated to do it.he was with me for 13 years and was 17 years old.I went to the shelter and got another dog also.she is a German Shepperd mix and very tall dog. My other dog was growling at her several times but they were playing last night thanks for viewing and any comments

I'm sorry about your dog. On a brighter, lighter note... you flew to the roof? lol... the image in my head ... How did you get Hillary's broom? A wonderful sunset capture here with the cotton-ball clouds and gorgeous color... In memory of Dog.

Gorgeous! My condolences also on your dog; mine is aging too, and I dread the arrival of that day. But look at the beautiful farewell he left you...

Took me a bit of time to replace my one pet, but I am sure glad I did. My previous one lives on in him, now. Super sunset cloud bank you have captured here, Richard. Looks like the type of clouds which signal bad weather arriving the next day or so...a mackeral sky.

Your poor doggie friend--I know you'll always remember him with a smile, though. This is a gorgeous sky--it seems like a nice tribute to your pup.

Richard, I am so sorry for your loss. It's always a difficult way to say goodbye to so many years of loyal companionship. But the fact that you went out and adopted a friend from the shelter is a marvelous thing. Perhaps, this sky that reaches on forever was meant to say thank you in some random way... Fantastic shot.

So sorry to hear about your dog. I am sure he is in dog heaven now, and free from pain. This is a fantastic capture. Almost like from a movie about aliens coming down from the sky. Great colors and cloud textures. Aloha
