Hand-held, zoom shot of the Olympic Mountains, taken from the view point on Olympic View Drive in Edmonds, Washington, on a picture-taking field trip with my friend Randy (Vaggabondd).

This year for my birthday, I'm making sure I get to spend a lot of time with friends. I'll be FIFTY years old on May 11th (mark your calendars!) and I'm stretching out the fun! One of the things I've been wanting to do this year is to spend time with some of my Renderosity friends. So yesterday Randy came over and spent the day, and we took our cameras to the beach. In May I'm going to visit JillianElf for a long weekend, and Marilyn (beachzz) is coming up for a few days this summer. I'm gonna make this birthday last!

This is a gorgeous shot, Tara, even if you did take it in April, not December LOL. Let me wish you an early Happy Birthday, and don't forget your trip down here in late May, assuming the wisteria ever blooms. I realize it's hard to remember these things as you get OLDer, but we'll help.

This is so beautiful. The way the clouds hang below the snowy mountain tops with the oh so blue water below. Fantastic capture. Sure wish I was able to come up that way to visit. I have a cousin that lives in Comox and I've never been able to get up to see her either. But it sounds like you won't need me to have a wonderful birthday. :-)

A fine vista I have flown over this from a trip to Canada to Olympia and some wonderful terrain from the alpine meadows to the Rainforest.. Thanks for the nice memories

What a fantastic shot of a beautiful mountain range. My husband and I took a trip to that area last year but the weather wasn't very cooperative and we didn't get to see much other than clouds and rain. Fifty ...you go girl 'cuz you're just a kid! Celebrate all year and leave no dream unfulfilled. I have the date marked on my calendar.

A stunning view, such a beautiful mountain range. My young lady Sylvia tells me life DOES begin at 50, well I suppose it is what you make it so start to cram in all the things you want to do and all the places you want to see while we still can lol. BTW Sylvia is four or five years older, but its not fair she looks five years younger than me lol.

Heading to the Penisula in a couple weeks to visit the rainforest and the ocean. The mountain looks to cold lol. A great shot, love the blues. Fifty, you're just a wee thing lol.
