Hand-held, zoom shot of the Olympic Mountains, taken from the view point on Olympic View Drive in Edmonds, Washington, on a picture-taking field trip with my friend Randy (Vaggabondd).

This year for my birthday, I'm making sure I get to spend a lot of time with friends. I'll be FIFTY years old on May 11th (mark your calendars!) and I'm stretching out the fun! One of the things I've been wanting to do this year is to spend time with some of my Renderosity friends. So yesterday Randy came over and spent the day, and we took our cameras to the beach. In May I'm going to visit JillianElf for a long weekend, and Marilyn (beachzz) is coming up for a few days this summer. I'm gonna make this birthday last!

I had no idea there was such a huge "over 50" group here @ RR? LOL!!! When I turned 50 five years ago I through a HUGE party in celebration, wish you could have been there, you would have loved it!!!! I'll wish you Happy Birthday early since I'll be headed to Vancouver Island this weekend, I hope the sun comes out for a little while... So very beautiful! I have a friend that lives on Olympic View Drive,so many beautiful views from that area, a perfect place to view sunrise and sunset!
