Description

There are two varieties, the Painted Lady and the American Painted Lady, both common in this area. I was thinking this was the American Painted Lady, but based on "Leeco"'s post yesterday and some googling, I think this might be the Painted Lady instead. Thanks very kindly for your views and comments.

Beautiful markings on this butteryfly. We get about one butteryfly a year here on the island. Maybe I can get a shot of it someday lol. A wonderful capture Maria.
