My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I do like the postwork. The canvass is very good here and the colors well treated. Great shot that started that postwork ball rolling. :-0

The postwork is just beautiful. It fascinates me that you can take a photo and make it look like a painting. I wish I could be there to watch you do it. I think I need to come up and watch you do this, have a tour of your brother's house (and of course meet him to get the real good stories about you)and take a trip to the beach. I'll add that to my list of 100 things to do before I die. Yes, I have such a list but it really doesn't have 100 things on it.

Fantastic, Tara!!! I LOVE the postwork! A local Aquelgia specialist has bred a strain called after songbirds, I have several of them and will post them as they appear. They were astonishingly expensive seeds, about 10 for £5/$10!!! I hope they all come up again this year or I shall be very PEEVED!

Excellent postwork, looks like some sort of canvas to me.

The lighting, textures and mauve, purple and green colors offer a striking display of beautiful petals in this gorgeous macro, Tara! As for Columbine, isn't that the name of the high school in Colorado that was shot up a few years back by those two nut cases? Incidentally, how's the battle with the allergies going?

The textural work is excellent and suits the subject so well - particularly since it is a wonderfully composed photograph in the first place. Mike
