Description

This dedication is for my friend Clayton, or better known as KatesFriend. Clayton does a great job at both Poser and Photography work in the gallery, and works well in both. One thing you will notice is he has a great sense of humor, and can always find a way to make people laugh. Literally every time he comments on my images I can't wait to hear what he has to say because I know it's going to make me smile. So many times I've seen in his comments where he refers to his sister Chris and the fun they had growing up, and I sort of feel like he is a kindred spirit because of the love he has for her just like I have for my sister Veronica. When I asked to do a image for him a while back his first response was to tell me this story about his sister Chris, that took place before he was even born. Hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I did, thank you, Dave Puppy Come From She Bum (For KatesFriend) : When Chris was a toddler she was very close to their black lab named Belle who was pregnant with puppies. Some kids learn about that facts of life from either their parents or at school. Well Chris learned about them first hand through her experience with Belle. Lately Belle had retreated back under the back porch of their house between the boards where no one could reach her. No one except Chris that is who managed to crawl back to check on her beloved Belle as she was giving birth to her puppies. Chris was amazed and helped out in her own way with the delivery during this sacred moment. When it was over Chris gathered up one of the puppies in one hand and a apple in the other hand and walked in the kitched where her Dad was. He looked around and Chris said to him (She Puppies Come From She Bum !) I tried my best to capture the moment that Chris was there with Belle, looking on. Lovely little piece. Great use of light to capture the delight on the girl's face. Love the story too - children do have a knack of saying things which are innocent and amazingly embarresing at the same time

What a delightful work Dave, I just love the expressions that you capture, and the poses are magnificent, as for the lighting it is perfect. This of course awakens the memories of the many times I spent watching my girls give birth to their puppies, always, always such a precious moment - Thank you dear Dave, hugs Jane xx

Hey Dave, do one for me - about the time I was in the chess club and we had a shot at the regionals in Cleveland, only we didn't have enough money to get there because the Principal decided to send the cheerleaders to Disney World instead, so to raise the money we abducted the head cheerleader and sold her to... No, better not. I don't want that coming back to haunt me.
